Ahead of opening night, I set up a portable studio with a white background at the theatre, and the cast joined us in full costume for a dedicated publicity photography session. We captured a series of high-quality, isolated shots — both individual portraits and group compositions — with a mixture of classic portraiture and fun, energetic “panto action” poses.
The studio-style white background provides maximum flexibility for marketing and media use. These images are used across posters, flyers, the show’s website and social channels, and are regularly picked up by newspapers and press outlets for local coverage.
While simple in appearance, white-background studio photography is often poorly executed — but it’s a style we’ve perfected over many years. In fact, this approach formed the core of our business in the early years and remains a distinctive strength. Although we’ve since moved more into commercial video production, this kind of clean, flexible studio photography remains a speciality and a valuable part of our offering.
